DESCRIPTION:  The complete text "La partenza dell'argonauta" of Alberto Savinio written in 1917, and translated into English for this publication in 1986 by George Scrivani. The bound volume includes five chapters and an original epilogue, fifty double page spreads of text, interwoven with lithographs, 34 in color, 16 in black. The binding has been designed to allow the reader to view each double page image without the interruption of a sewn gutter. The text is printed letterpress in Bembo type on Okawara mold made Kozo paper.
