Our holiday exhibit features three artists painting a variety of works suitable for hanging. Mike Smith's, watercolors are whimsical familar farm scenes usually featuring his dog, Maddie, ducks and many farm animals. He also has a number of dramatic paintings of pastel and watercolor horses.
Anne Schreivogl paints acrylic paintings that are both whimsical and creative featuring everyday moments mixed with joy and spontaneous expressions of happiness.
Tommer Gonser's newest oil paintings are rich with texture and color. He has a large abstract painting that is spectacular, filled with color variations, movement, and collage impressions. His oil paintings are sometimes abstract and other times still lifes.
Also featured are new works by three ceramic artists. Sandy Visse shows new whimsical ceramic animals including camels, zebras, dogs and a new ceramic nativity scene. Christy Runyan will show a variety of whimsical animal garden sculptures that are on a larger scale and suitable for placing outdoors in the garden. Natalie Warrens has bright and colorfull porcelain bowls, plates, mugs, teapots, and features her red and purple plates with crow images.
