Due to its rich history, Italy has been an essential tourist destination for centuries. During the 18th and 19th centuries, Italy had one of the highest reputations for the fine arts, therefore attracting people from all over the world to discover what the country had to offer. Italian landscape paintings maintain a spectacular individuality, as the light that is captured in Italy is like no other. The artists in this exhibition show dynamic views of this Italy, each with their own captivating vision. Included are works by Antoine Bouvard, Felix Francois G.P. Ziem, Alfred Pollentine, and Edward Alfred Goodall. Showing alongside this exhibition is a selection of fine antiques and objet d’art.
