Atsmon Ganor is known as a leading Israeli artist of his generation. Working from a studio in 401 Richmond he has carved a space at the heart of Toronto's art scene. Ganor is equally invested in conceptual exploration and aesthetics. In AFRIKA his perceptive, occasionally tongue-in-cheek approach to art-making comes to fruition in two series: one a set of paintings, the other sets of pillows printed with text. Toying with words, palette, subtlety, and the multiple, Ganor encourages creative, lateral thinking in his audience.
