When talking about 'Love Shot', we better forget about little romances and crushes, because this expressions rushes in the boundaries of Desire, Passion, and Eroticism…
Whereas the Christmas break definitely puts an end on the French problematic of sexual boundaries, the Gallery Ricardo Fernandes revives the topic with its collective exhibition 'Love Shot'.
'Love Shot' decks out Erotic Art, and brings out questions about our tolerance limits. Erected “Rue du Vertbois” in Paris, (as suggested by the sculpture created by German artist Rolland Schmitz) this exhibition bring us through the history of eroticism, and pushes our boundaries.
Art and eroticism are a match at Ricardo Fernandes Gallery. The artists gathered for the occasion don’t hesitate to treat the subject literally, using humor, satire, gravity… showing us their point of view about eroticism. The subject, disturbing at first, becomes far from being taboo.
