Atrium Gallery announces an end of summer show of ceramic work by St. Louis artist William Yonker. "To the Moon" will feature plates that carry Yonker's well-known theme featuring a presence of the moon, in a stylized landscape vision, as well as pieces with additional current references. Also included will be several pots with repetitious patterns and traditional shapes. Yonker is a well-known St. Louis artist with advanced degrees from Washington University, and an avid interest in archeology inspiring his use of the ceramic medium. The exhibition opens with Atrium's Traditional Summer Sangria Party on Friday, August 10 from 6-8 p.m., and will run through September 9.
