Music by Gideon Freudman: Cellist Member of the Portland Cello Project
Melissa Cole, a world traveler with her husband, Brandon who is an underwater photographer, spends much time snorkeling the underwater world. There she finds inspiration from the salmon, manatees, sperm whales, dolphins, and tiger sharks that she paints using vivid colors, heavily textured with her use of ethnic patterns. Last summer she had a summer long exhibit at the Seattle Aquarium, worked on her 24' x 22' commission, "Riverdance", for the Spokane Convention Center and went to Delhi, India for a solo exhibit in January at the Farrago Gallery.
